This is another steppingstone in the wrong direction. You cant make a moral wrong a civil right. The tension today is just a lightning rod issue from an ordinance presented as a means to protect the Lgbt Community from discrimination in various places.

Very heavy rain. A couple minutes ago we werent able to see that far ahead of us because of the rain. Were just to the north of the strongest part of the storm. I mentioned just north of high sholes, very heavy rain and strong winds. Its moving very fast. The storm is under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 12 45, its moving at 60 to 70 Miles Per Hour. So it will be here and gone but we had to really slow down our speed, both hands on the wheel because of the winds that were so strong. Weve been hearing reports of downed power lines and trees. Were likely going to see some of those throughout areas of lincoln and Gaston County with these strong thunderstorms. Were getting near the lincolnton area, light rain still continuing here in storm cam. Still some very dark ominous clouds ahead of us. Theyre moving very fast here this afternoon.
