Hudson High School students, Hudson Daybreak Rotary Club members and the Willow River Tree Company banded together in the back of the high school to plant and stake trees around a frisbee golf course.
Hudson, Wisconsin once had 1,400 ash trees, making up roughly 24% of its total tree population, according to a city official. But after the nationwide infestation of the EAB, the city s ash tree population has dropped to 350.
