Won by One to Jamaica was founded years ago with the hope of giving back to residents in Harmons, Jamaica.
Blair Michael, financial director for this organization, says Harmons is an under resourced area with a lot of needs.
So far they’ve helped children in over 500 families go to school and they built 1000 homes for residents in Harmons and nearby villages.
That work will continue in just a few weeks as they’ll be hosting the Dave Bish memorial golf tournament to raise money for their sponsorship program in Jamaica.
Michael says their goal is to raise $10,000.
