Exam cancellation a big relief for CBSE students | Bhubaneswar News

Representative image BHUBANESWAR: The Centre s decision to cancel the Class-XII board examination to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday got a mixed response from students. Parents and students were greatly relieved as there was a worry over students appearing for an offline examination at the time when the Covid-19 infection is at its peak. Though Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the decision was taken in the interest of students , many students felt their hard work had been wasted. Hours after the Centre called off the Class-XII board exams, the Council of Indian Certificate of Secondary Examination (CICSE) also cancelled the Class XII (ISC) 2021 examination. There was much uncertainty and confusion over whether the exams would be held or not. Cambridge International D.A.V. Public School wins Collins Coding Championship

New Delhi [India], March 15 (ANI/PRNewswire): Cambridge International D.A.V. Public School, Pushpanjali Enclave, New Delhi won Collins Smart Tech 1.0 - A National Coding Championship for Schools that took place from February 1, 2021, to March 12, 2021. Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar, Nagpur, Maharashtra was the first runner-up and Epistemo Vikas Leadership School, Hyderabad, Telangana was the second runner-up. The Sanskaar Valley School, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh finished fourth. Collins, in association with MindChamp, announced its first national coding championship for students of grades 4 to 8. Approximately 300 schools went to the first round and seven schools made it into the finals of the competition, which was held virtually on 12 March 2021. The Winners of the Biggest Ever Arithmetic Online Contest for Kids of 2 to 4 Class

SIP Academy Wednesday, February 24, 2021 12:05PM IST (6:35AM GMT) Six kids emerged champions of the contest competed by 41,000 students from 20 states   Hyderabad, Telangana, India:  The Nationals of India’s largest online Arithmetic Genius Contest was held recently. The 5th edition of the contest was organized by India’s biggest skill development institute, SIP Academy which has a very strong base in 25 states in the country.      They competed with 41000 students who registered and 100 students reached the final from 20 states after a rigorous three-month selection process. Of these 100 students from 20 states, six were declared as Champions.      The winners include, in the 2nd Grade Category, Tarandeep Singh of DAV Public School, Ludhiana and Rishi Pandey from Universal Public School, Delhi have become the champions.
