One major obstacle impeding positive environmental effects in the efforts towards a sustainable, environmentally conscious future is Malaysians’ lack of understanding, particularly in relation to the importance of environmental health and the possible role they may play in this, said Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Datuk Yakub Khan.
He said it is for this reason, the State Government via his Ministry welcomes the inauguration ceremony of the Planet Us exhibition, an interactive educational exhibit, jointly developed by the US Embassy Kuala Lumpur and the Biji-biji Initiative.
He said this here Tuesday when officiating the Planet Us exhibit which is being hosted by the Sabah State Library in Tanjung Aru from Sept 1-11.
