SEPANG, Aug 20 ― Malaysia today received the first batch of the China-made single-dose CanSino Covid-19 vaccine to boost the momentum of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK), especially in rural areas. A total of 200,000 doses of CanSino vaccine developed by CanSino Biologics Inc.
Malaysia has received 200,000 doses of the CanSino Covid-19 vaccine today, the first delivery out of 3.5 million doses ordered from CanSino Biologics. The finished vaccine doses were flown in by MAS Kargo via flight MH361 from Beijing and arrived at KLIA at 7.50am this morning, said the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (Mosti) in a statement.
