IPOH: The police will conduct thorough checks to ensure that applicants are truthful when applying for permission to cross borders, says Comm Datuk Kasuahdi Ali.
The Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order deputy director said the police would filter through the applications at the respective police stations before approving the permit to cross states.

“Everyone, especially the Chinese community, will celebrate the Chinese New Year and also there is a possibility for other races to take advantage of the long weekend.
