KOTA KINABALU, Jan 4 - A non-governmental organisation fighting for more open spaces in the city has panned the government’s decision to extend the iconic Tanjung Aru beach via.
Tanjung Aru Eco Development Executive Director Datuk Ismail Abdullah said holding “car boot” sale is another effort by the management to make the beach destination a mainstay of the local community.
It is held every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 10pm and provides business opportunities for young entrepreneurs, petty traders and housewives which can bring extra income.
“Bring your own shopping bags or trolleys, tumblers, food containers and even umbrellas if necessary. We are going eco-friendly all the way,” said Ismail
KOTA KINABALU: A short-term car boot sale that encourages sustainable shopping and thrifting which started recently at Tanjung Aru beach will be extended.
