KLANG: The Kuala Langat PKR division has issued a statement disassociating itself from Datuk Dr Xavier Jayakumar following his departure from the party.
Division deputy chief Mohd Afiq Mohd Tuniman issued the statement, saying that the constituency s grassroots will ensure “traitors” will not get a place in Kuala Langat in the next general election. Kuala Langat Keadilan (PKR) is determined to clean-up and strengthen the division to ensure we can better serve the people.
Dr Xavier helmed the division before leaving the party as a member and as a vice-president. Kuala Langat PKR also vows full loyalty and support to the party and the leadership of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and will not compromise with any individual who is closely linked to the Perikatan Nasional government, said Mohd Afiq.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 12 ― Two former ministers in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration has accused the Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s first Cabinet in 2010 of being complicit in hiding the truth behind Yayasan 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) “donation”.
