PETALING JAYA, March 9 ― Flamboyant celebrity Azwan Ali has been unceremoniously sacked as the host of reality singing competition Mic On that is in its second season. Harian Metro reported that the TV channel made the decision after considering key factors to ensure the programme will run.
The latest free-to-air channel in Malaysia, Awesome TV is now available on Astro Ch 123 HD.
It was first launched on Aug 3, 2020, and is available on MYTV Ch 112.
Awesome TV offers local content in all genres as well as international shows, and it has gained an increased viewership starting from October.
“Awesome TV recorded its highest daily viewership reach of over one million viewers back in November 2020 and to date, more than 2.6 million viewers have tuned in to the channel,” said Datuk Adam Ilyas, CEO of Awesome TV in a press release.
It stated in the release that the channel did well on digital and social media platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.
