Womans car still on the sidewalk. This whole incident happened shortly after 7 00. The woman behind the wheel was driving at one point in time the wrong way down pine which is a one way street. And as you said earlier, aimed the car directly at the officers. This all started as a stolen vehicle investigation. They approached the woman at a near by gas station. As they approached that vehicle, the woman took off, turned up pine westbound on pine. Then did a u turn on a one way street. The officers then drove up on to the sidewalk at one point and back up the street several times in about a 50yard stretch. As she got back close to the officers they say she aimed her car directly at them and hit her gas. Thats when the two officers on scene both fired their guns hitting and killing the woman behind the wheel. Officers are authorized to discharge their firearm if theyre in fear for their safety or the safety of another individual. Being this close to van nuys obviously the vehicle already

An Oldham-based Romanian crime gang, who stole more than £160,000 worth of items from supermarkets across the UK, have been jailed.
Nicolea Ilea, aged 36, Alin Mahai, 27, Florin Costea, 51, Stefan Florin, 31, Marius Meiosu, 25, and Gabriel Mocanu, 36, all pleaded guilty to conspiracy to steal and were sentenced at Chester Crown Court yesterday (Tuesday).
They were each sentenced to 42 months in prison.
The court heard that the gang travelled across the country stealing high value items from supermarkets, primarily targeting Asda stores.
Their crime spree began on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, when Mahai and Ilie targeted the Asda Great Bridge Supercentre in Tipton, West Midlands.
