KOTA BARU, May 13 The Kelantan government today announced a contribution of RM100,000 through the ‘Tabung Serambi Mekah’ fund to the Palestinian cause.
Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob said the contribution would be delivered directly to Palestinians who are currently in dire need of financial assistance.
He said the Zionist regime’s actions were not only cruel and inhumane but also violated humanitarian principles and policies set by Western nations themselves.

KUALA LUMPUR – Senior Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, has called on the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the Arab League, the United Nations (UN) and Muslims the world over to take decisive action to stop the atrocities committed by the Israeli regime on Palestinian land.
He said that the Palestinian issue was beyond the issue of Muslims and it was a universal humanitarian issue that needed the world’s attention.

“The misery and suffering of Muslims on Palestinian soil must be stopped,” he said in a statement today.

KOTA BHARU: The Kelantan government has submitted a report on the critical Covid-19 situation in the state to the Malaysian National Security Council (MKN) to seek its advice, says Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob.
He said the report from the State Special Security Committee (JKKN) was handed in several days ago, and they were currently waiting for the response.
“Among the things mentioned in the report is of the high rate of infections involving the South African B.1.351 variant in Kelantan, while the infectivity rate still exceeds 1.0
“In addition, the Covid-19 infection has occurred in the community with 16 percent of the cases having no epidemiological links. In fact, we are also running short in terms of human resources and logistics at health facilities,’’ he said.
