believe? we ve been led to believe they were not on that mission, that they were strictly on a mission looking for bergdahl. has the military said something to you in a formal sense, or is this based on those who served with him? that s based on the men that served with darryn. what is it you d like to see happen now? there s a couple things i would like to see happen. i d like to see bergdahl given an opportunity to tell his story, be on trial, have the witnesses come forward, and tell their story and get the truth through that and then i would like to see the full measure of the law followed for his punishment. and i would appreciate information from the military to us and our family on what darryn
right situation. next story, despite unprecedented popularity and revenues, the nfl is in crisis mode this morning. their image under fire once again. this time, star running back accused of peting his fiance unconscious and then trag dragging her body out of an elevator in a new jersey casino. then you have darryn sharper suspected of raping at least eight women in five states. andy skoels is with us this morning. the nfl has quite a mess on its hands in showing are they the worst of us or the best of us. you re right, chris. many thought last off season pr wise was the worst ever for the nfl. 31 players from 18 different 19 different teams were arrested. the most noted of course was aaron hernandez. they continue to try to clean up their image, but this off season is already off to a rough start.
this is darryn and tom. let me start with you. you told me just a moment ago that this was you ve been waiting 17 years for this. can you put this in words for what it means to you? it s amazing. on behalf of everybody. we work hard. we pay taxes. we re citizens and it s just wonderful that it s finally time that we re recognized as being part of the community. the city really put this together quickly. they got all of these volunteers to come and open up city hall. can you just talk about the atmosphere of what it s like to be here? this is really the epicenter of the whole experience. that s why we wanted to come here. we drove down from senoma last night. we felt like this was the place to get married. we ve loved each other for so long. we re beginning to wonder is
