VANCOUVER - A 15-year-old Vancouver boy has died after a fight between two groups of young people in a west-side park.
Vancouver police says the teen was stabbed during the fight on Saturday.
He underwent surgery for a chest wound but Sgt. Steve Addison says the teen died Sunday.
A 14-year-old was arrested shortly after the fight.
Addison says the boy has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

VANCOUVER - Police say a criminal charge has been laid in connection with a case involving a man who followed a woman for many blocks as she walked through downtown Vancouver.
Const. Tania Visintin says police began investigating after the woman posted video to social media last month showing a man persistently following, sometimes very closely.
The woman reported the unknown man trailed her for about 40 minutes before she asked for help from people at a nearby park and one of them chased the man off.

VANCOUVER - Police have identified a 37-year-old Vancouver man as the city s latest homicide victim.
A statement from Vancouver police says 37-year-old Robinson Russ was fatally stabbed on April 4.
Const. Tania Visintin says Russ was attacked in the Downtown Eastside neighbourhood and died later in hospital.
No arrests have been made in the city s fourth homicide of 2021.

VANCOUVER - Police say a woman has been fatally shot in Vancouver.
A statement from Sgt. Steve Addison says police responded to a call at about 4 a.m. on Wednesday.
Addison says the woman was found in a social housing building in the Downtown Eastside and died later in hospital.
Police believe her attacker fled.
