Flesh-rotting fentanyl laced with the animal sedative known as "Tranq" has flooded opioid-ravaged portions of Florida's Orange County, causing 150 ODs and nine fatalities over the last 18 months.
The sheriff’s office in Orange County says it is seeing more of a powerful animal sedative in seized fentanyl, and is warning the public because the drug is not receptive to overdose medications.
Fifteen people were arrested after a drug trafficking organization selling fentanyl cut with the animal tranquilizer xylazine was dismantled, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
