Odd but completely predictable. The same people that took over DPI have been the power behind IDCCA since its inception.
Problem is that DPI has gone from being an adjunct on the Illinois House Democratic organization, to completely neutralized because the Durbin/Kelly forces refused to reckon with the obvious legal complications of having a federal officeholder in the role of DPI chair. With DPI paralyzed, they are trying to push messaging through the county chairs.

MOLINE, Ill. Ken Moffett, Legislative Aide for Illinois State Senator Neil Anderson, is pushing for Vietnam War Veteran Bill Albracht, to have his Silver Star upgraded to a Medal of Honor.
As former News 8 reporter John David pointed out, Captain Albracht was outnumbered 40 to one in early November of 1969, and he lead his troops on an amazing escape from Firebase Kate in Vietnam.

LaHood s resignation came after it was disclosed last week that he paid a $40,000 fine as part of a deal with federal prosecutors after making misleading statements to federal agents and failing to disclose a $50,000 loan on two government ethics forms, the Department of Justice reported.
LaHood, a Republican from Peoria and the father of U.S. Rep. Darrin LaHood, R-Peoria, did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
While still a member of President Barack Obama s cabinet in 2012, LaHood accepted the loan from Gilbert Chagoury, a wealthy foreign businessman, but didn t report it in subsequent disclosure forms although it was required. LaHood also made misleading statements to Federal Bureau of Investigation special agents inquiring about the matter, prosecutors said.
