Bradford to host England trial for deaf or hard of hearing | Bradford Telegraph and Argus

THE England Cricket Association for the Deaf (ECAD) is on the look out for talented cricketers in the Yorkshire region, including Bradford. As part of its national talent ID programme, ECAD will be holding trials at Woodlands Cricket Club in Bradford on Saturday, May 29 from 9-11am. Players aged 10 and above (including adults) who are deaf or hard of hearing, including signers, oral, cochlear or hearing aid users, are welcome to join trials to become a future star of ECAD’s North and Yorkshire Deaf teams. ECAD was launched in 2002 and supports players from a wide range of backgrounds. The charity works closely with the ECB to promote Deaf Cricket across the UK and has produced players for England’s Deaf national teams.
