Ackers Lane and, inset, Chester Crown Court TWO suspects will stand trial next year after a reported stabbing. The 46-year-old victim suffered serious injuries to his upper body and leg after the incident on Ackers Lane in Stockton Heath on the afternoon of May 14. He was allegedly stabbed eight times and bitten on the calf by a dog during the attack. Taia Ryder, of Ackers Lane, has been charged with wounding with intent and being in charge of a dangerously out of control dog which caused injury over the altercation. Lewis Oxley, of Harding Avenue in Orford, faces charges of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.

A man was allegedly stabbed up to eight times and bitten by an out-of-control dog in a shocking afternoon attack.
Pair arrested on suspicion of assault as man suffers serious injuries to body and leg TWO people have been arrested on suspicion of assault after a man suffered serious injuries in Stockton Heath. At 3.10pm on Friday, police received reports of an assault in Ackers Road. Officers attended the scene and found a 46-year-old man with serious injuries to his upper body and leg. He was assessed at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital for treatment. A 22-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were arrested at the scene on suspicion of section 18 assault. They are currently in custody being questioned by detectives.
