Rochester hit-and-run suspect had 3 open cases for driving after suspension Wicked Local ROCHESTER – The suspect in a hit-and-run on North Avenue in which a pedestrian was seriously injured Saturday, Feb. 20, has a revoked license and three open cases for driving after suspension, according to the police report. Darren Moran, 27, of Middleborough was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon-motor vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident involving personal injury, operating after license suspension-subsequent offense, marked lanes violation, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He was ordered held on $10,000 bail following arraignment Monday, Feb. 22, in Wareham District Court. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for March 17.
