Take a look outside of each Cleveland County School this week and one thing will be abundantly clear - heroes work there.
Local artist known for painting spirit rocks outside local school, Darrell Endicott said he was commissioned by two anonymous individuals to paint murals dedicated to the teachers and staff at all Cleveland County elementary, middle and high schools. In the same way you might see Heroes work here signs out front of a nursing home, dentist office, daycare; it s the same idea behind it. I just tweaked it a little bit, said Endicott.
Over the last week Endicott has been making his way to all 30 county schools, plastering the large mural rocks at each with images of Superman, Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk and even Super Grover at each. All look a little different but bear the Heroes Work Here tagline.
