The Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday night appointed a Lynchburg native as the next county administrator, a position vacant since the January 2022 firing of David Smitherman.
After looking for a new administrator for more than a year, the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors appointed Stuart J. Turille Jr. to the position, effective April 1.
