Gerald Morin is seeking his third term as vice-president for the Metis-Nation of Saskatchewan (MN-S).
Reflecting back on the past four years and what was accomplished for Metis people in the country, Morin described the time period as “exciting.” Morin specifically noted the signing of a self-government agreement with the federal government in 2019, as well as the fact over 10,000 names were added to the provincial registry.
“I think that’s one of the challenges, to bring our people together in a strong and united fashion to rally around that vision of nation building and the pursuit of rights,” he said.
