LAKKI MARWAT: A police assistant sub-inspector was martyred in a firing incident in Sharbikhel village of Darra Pezu town here on Thursday night.
An official said a police party headed by ASI Kalimullah, in charge officer of Shahbazkhel police post, reached the village on information about the presence of an armed suspect there.
“The cops spotted the suspect identified as Hamayun in the hujra (guestroom) of one Najibullah, a cook in the police department, and arrested him along with an AK-47 rifle,” he claimed.
The official said Najibullah, also armed with an assault rifle, intercepted the police van, and asked the policemen to set Hamayun free along with the seized weapon.
TIANJIN, May 11 (Gwadar Pro)- An agreement on a renovation project of a waste heat recovery power plant was signed between China Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited (Sinoma EC) and Lucky Cement last weekend. The generating capacity of the two power stations utilising waste heat is expected to increase by about 4MW after the transformation.
The two power stations are Lines CD and 01 (former AB) of the Pezu Plant in Darra Pezu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
The agreement came after a contract entered between the two sides on a 7500t/d supporting power station project with waste heat of cement in late March this year.

LAKKI MARWAT: Two teenage boys, including an Afghan national, were killed over an old enmity in Ghazikhel village of Darra Pezu town here on Thursday.
Police said that Saad and Gul Mohammad allegedly entered the guestroom of Arifullah, 19, and opened fire on him and his companion Rehmanullah, 17, an Afghan national, killing both of them on the spot.
They said that Rehmanullah was presently residing in Titterkhel locality of the district along with his family. Karim Khan, father of deceased Arifullah, told police that the killers escaped after the attack. The police said the bodies were handed over to relatives after fulfilling formalities at rural health centre, Titterkhel. They said they had started investigation after registration of the case.

LAKKI MARWAT: A man and his two sons were shot dead over irrigation water dispute in Bannu district on Sunday.
The police said Musharraf Khan shot and killed Dost Ali and his sons, Junaid Khan and Kifayatullah (a constable), in Ghairatkhel Mashal Kallay locality of Ghoriwala town.
They said the killer escaped the place, and the bodies were shifted to the district headquarters hospital for autopsy.
A case was registered against the killer in Ghoriwala police station.
Also, a villager Rehmatullah was murdered over a property dispute in Bandikhel Janikhel area of Bannu.
