A Kansas City Royals minor-leaguer is facing federal charges after allegedly assaulting and spitting on fellow passengers aboard an international flight.
The man detained on a flight to Salt Lake City earlier this month, who allegedly grabbed, harassed and spit on fellow passengers, is a minor league baseball player for Kansas City, according to federal prosecutors.
Darnel Collins, a Dutch player who inked a deal with the Kansas City Royals in 2021, had to be restrained after allegedly spitting on other passengers, among other claims.
