The 23 North-East and North Yorkshire Wetherspoons opening on April 12 TWENTY-THREE Wetherspoon pubs are set to reopen in the North-East and North Yorkshire when Covid restrictions ease. Wetherspoon is to open beer gardens and patios at nearly 400 pubs from April 12, when lockdown eases, the company has announced. While popular spots across County Durham, Teesside and North Yorkshire will be welcoming back customers, Darlington s Wetherspoon will stay closed due to a lack of outdoor seating. The 394 pubs nationally will be open from 9am to 9pm, Sunday to Thursday, and 9am to 10pm on Friday and Saturday although some have restrictions on closing times and in those cases will close earlier.
