Jocelyn Dockerty’s class has been reading Alan Gratz’s book “Refugee”, which follows the story of three different children seeking refuge during three different time periods. The book tells of Josef, a Jewish boy living in 1930s Nazi Germany, Isabel, a Cuban girl seeking refuge in the U.S. in 1994, and Mahmoud, a Syrian boy attempting to reach Europe in 2015.
