12. Only Time (2000)
Enyaâs non-ironic influence on contemporary experimental electronic musicians such as Holly Herndon and Gazelle Twin is well-known, but the fan that surprises many is Chris Carter of Throbbing Gristle, who recently selected Only Time as a favourite track. If itâs good enough for a âwrecker of civilisationâ, it should be good enough for you.
11. Sumiregusa (2005)
The natural world is a constant source of inspiration in Enyaâs music. Sumiregusa, inspired by a Japanese haiku, is an ode to the wild violet. Itâs a floaty track interrupted by a deeper bass boom â another pointer to Nicky Ryanâs experimental tendencies.
Powered by a record-breaking performance, Adele’s “25” lands atop the Billboard 200.
Per Nielsen Music, the smash hit album generated 3.48 million total consumption units in the United States. 3,377,885 came from pure album sales (obviously enough for #1 on Top Album Sales), 96,000 came from Track Equivalent Albums (track sales/10) and 8,000 came from Streaming Equivalent Albums (track streams/1500; only “Hello” is on eligible streaming services).
Both the 3.48 million and 3.38 million figures represent new Soundscan era records. NSYNC’s 2000 album “No Strings Attached,” which previously held the record for opening week US sales, sold 2.416 million pure copies during its inaugural week (at the time, the Billboard 200 only measured pure sales).

Video report by ITV Channel s Russell Hookey.
Astronomers around the world have been marking International Dark Sky Week and this year it coincides with a special anniversary for people in Sark.
It was the world s first Dark Sky Island in 2011 - due to its unparalleled views of the night sky and lack of light pollution.
It is something the Sark Astronomy Society says needs careful protection.
They really had to recognise that its something special and to commit to taking care of it so the lighting has to be absolutely minimal - it s outside lighting so you have to measure the quality of the night sky and the government has to undertake to back the whole effort as does the community.
