FFXIV Patch 5.55 and PS5 Official Service Arrive at the End of May
Final Fantasy XIV at the end of May 2021. To be specific, both the
FFXIV patch 5.55 update will arrive and PS5 official service will begin on May 25, 2021. This will bring new quests, like an epilogue for the
NieR: Automata-inspired YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse. The announcement also offered a reminder about new features in the PS5 version. Everything came up during the May 2021 Fan Fest’s Letter from the Producer LIVE Part LXIV.
First, some of the
FFXIV patch 5.55 details came up. YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse isn’t the only questline with new parts. Death Unto Dawn will get a second part and Save the Queen will get an update. Those playing Triple Triad at the Gold Saucer will have a new goal. If you get every card, you get an unspecified reward.
Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.5 Marks the Beginning of the End
Shadowbringers and the transition into the upcoming expansion,
Endwalker. The Main Scenario Questline remains something of a slow burn as events begin to fall into place that will no doubt lay the foundation for future plot threads that will be interwoven into
Endwalker. Content remains padded out in optional storylines and activities specifically the
NieR: Automata YoRHa Dark Apocalypse raid scenario and The Sorrow of Werlyt questline. While
Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.5 remains divided into two parts, this update attempts to give players something to cut their teeth on in the meantime.

Replicant and
NieR Automata than you can shake a fully-armed Pod at. Of particular note was a new line of figures and statues in the Bring Arts and Nendoroid lines.
Square Enix will add a young Nier
NieR Replicant Bring Arts figure to the officially licensed line of poseable action figures. The figure of young Nier, based on his early-game appearance, will include a sword, Grimoire Weiss, and several accessories.
