Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC today, May 7, 2021. It retails for $29.99 with “enhanced graphics,” as well as 4K for applicable non-Switch platforms, but it isn’t a full-scale remaster, as you will see watching its launch trailer. However, local co-op is still a key feature.
In
Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance on Switch, you will play as dwarven fighter Kromlech, human archer Vahn, or elven sorceress Adrianna. There is a repertoire of 11 spells including the iconic Magic Missile, plus more than 25 active and passive skills and more than 40 enemy types including bosses. Additionally, the game delivers full voice acting, four difficulty levels, and a variety of environments to explore.
