Elizabeth Bell was the glue that kept her family together.
The Detroit mother of three died as a result of complications from COVID-19 on April 9 at Providence Hospital in Southfield.
Bell, 46, was a graduate of Henry Ford High School and then attended Everest Institute in Southfield. She worked in the nursing field at Garden City Hospital and then in a doctor’s office in Dearborn, which was just right for her since she was known for her caring spirit.
Known to many as Carol, Bell loved to host Sunday dinners at her house to bring family together. Soul food was her specialty, and she eventually owned a catering business called Liz Kitchen.
