Federal prosecutors originally charged Darion Lindsey in February 2021 with Denzal Stewart and Lamar Taylor. Stewart and Taylor pleaded guilty to an arson conspiracy and civil disorder, and Lindsey joined them in doing so Thursday.
A judge sentences Denzal Stewart to 3 years and 9 months for conspiracy to commit arson and civil disorder. Stewart and two others set fire to a CTA van on State Street.
The feds pointed to a video Lamar Taylor posted on Facebook Live on his way downtown on May 30, 2020, in which Taylor declared, “I’m on my way to protest for a Rolex.”
