Belita “Sister Belita” Dardanella Lofton, 67 of Zanesville
On Friday, February 19, 2021, at 7:14 pm, Belita “Sister Belita” Dardanella Lofton, 67, went up yonder to be with her Lord, following a brief Illness. Though no longer present in body, she is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her Creator.
One of thirteen children born to the late Willie Ford, Sr. and Mary (Terry) Ford, Belita was born in Bellaire, OH on June 19, 1953. She graduated from Bellaire High School in 1971, after which she went on to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education from Muskingum Area Technical College.
