More than a museum, Central School in Lake City is a cultural center that offers public meeting space and hosts an annual lecture series, with topics ranging from IowaÃs Carnegie libraries to the history of the Civilian Conservation Corps. The museum, which is located just a block south of Lake CityÃs historic town square, is open to the public for tours.
