Allen 2021 Flying 11 National Championship at Belmont 16 Skiff Sailing Club by Hugh Stodart 20 Apr 08:51 UTC 11-15 April 2021 Tight racing for the top 5 in Heat 9 - Allen 2021 Flying 11 National Championship © Mel Yeomans at Deck Hardware The 2021 Allen Flying 11 Australian Championships were run at Belmont 16 s from 11 to 15 April. As with most things this year the regatta had to be rescheduled from January to work around travel restrictions. It was great to have 50 boats entered in spite of the new dates. The weather in April was expected to be different from January with fewer, lighter sea breezes and potentially fickle westerlies. The Flying 11 class is also very lucky to have continued support from title sponsor Allen and contributions from LIros Ropes, Vaikobi, Ullman Sails and Composite Spars & Tubes.

NFL 2021 free agency: Raiders have choices at defensive tackle

Related Among the big-ticket players at the position in free agency include Dalvin Tomlinson of the New York Giants and Ndamukong Suh of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They would both help the Raiders, but they may be too pricey. Plus, Tomlinson may prefer to remain as a nose tackle in a 3-4 defense. Cleveland’s Larry Ogunjobi is a player who is getting a lot of love prior to free agency. DeQuan Jones of the Tennessee Titans could also fit the Raiders. Arby Jones of the Jacksonville Jaguars is a scouts’ favorite and he could be intriguing. Shelby Harris Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

Disaster aid approved for Southeast Texas counties hit by Laura

Disaster aid approved for Southeast Texas counties hit by Laura Dec. 9, 2020 FacebookTwitterEmail The Orange home of Darby Jones, Marvin Jones, Jarriod Reese and their mother Torrye Reese has been destroyed after a tree crashed into it during Hurricane Laura last month. They are staying in a hotel, returning home to clear the debris, clothes and furniture destroyed, and to await whatever help they can get to make repairs. Reese also lost large freezers filled with over a thousand dollars worth of ice cream, which she sells out of her ice cream truck. She doesn t expect to be able to work for the remainder of the year. Despite their losses, she and her children, including older son Jarriod Reese, whose bedroom took the direct hit from the fallen tree, are glad that they chose to evacuate. Things we can replace. You can t replace a life, she says. Photo taken Thursday, September 10, 2020 Kim Brent/The EnterpriseKim Brent / The Enterprise
