Bandula Harischandra, the Secretary to the Ministry of Wildlife and Forest Conservation told News 1st on Monday (Feb. 15) that he submitted a request in writing to the Ministry himself, urging them to construct the Central Expressway so that the Sri Lankan Legume or Crudia zeylanica tree remains in the middle of the expressway.
