Anil Parab, a Shiv Sena (UBT) MLC, has received respite from the Lokayukta in a case regarding the unlawful resort construction in Dapoli, Maharashtra. The Lokayukta deemed the complaint against Parab 'ungrounded', leading to its closure and dismissal.
The bench was informed by Special Public Prosecutor Girish Kulkarni for the state government that the probe was completed by Ratnagiri police and a chargesheet was filed.
The special court has said in its detailed order that the entire case and allegations revolve around Parab, yet he was not arrested or made an accused in the agency’s chargesheet.
