Funding was used to buy sanitation items and assist with payroll, utilities and rent/mortgage payments.
Officials said the support from the community shows once again that Coshocton always comes through in a crisis.
Many business owners said they wouldn t be around or greatly reduced without the funding help.
COSHOCTON – Many local organizations and businesses know they wouldn’t be around now if it wasn’t for aid received from local agencies and the government during the COVID-19 pandemic.
More than $809,000 has been distributed locally to assist with pandemic expenses to a variety of businesses, non-profit organizations and schools by the United Way, Coshocton Port Authority, City of Coshocton and Coshocton County Commissioners.
