Police: Deputy U S marshal remains on life-support after shooting

Police said the marshal was shot around 6:15 a.m. in the 1400 block of North Mount Street The suspect, 30-year-old Dante Green, was pronounced dead at the scene. Don Snider of the U.S. Marshals Service s Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force said the deputy marshal is a member of the marshals special operations group and is a former Marine. However, he said U.S. Marshal Service policy prohibited him from identifying the deputy marshal until all investigations into the incident are complete. Baltimore police are leading the investigation.
