An Oklahoma woman is in jail after commenting on a police department’s Facebook page about warrants regarding her arrest.
The Tulsa Police Department (TPD) makes a weekly Facebook post about its “Most Wanted” fugitives, KFOR reported Friday.
Authorities wrote Wednesday that Lorraine Graves was wanted in connection with the murder of Eric Graves, who was shot and killed at the St. Thomas Square Apartments this year.
“Detectives arrested Jayden Hopson and Gabriel Hopson for the murder, but they were still searching for Lorraine Graves, who was charged with accessory to murder,” the outlet said.
Tulsa Police arrested a man accused of raping a 12-year-old girl and getting her pregnant.
Police said 24-year-old Juan Miranda-Jara brought the girl to the hospital because she was in labor.
When police got there, they said he told them he’d been in a relationship with the girl for nine months. They said he admitted to being the baby’s father.
“It’s kind of bizarre. It’s a different way of doing it, instead of a parent reporting it, the actual suspect brought the child in and then admitted it was his,” Tulsa Police officer Danny Bean said.
Some midtown Tulsa residents heard the sounds of a gun battle late Sunday night.
Tulsa Police said officers found a large crowd at the 21st Street and Yale Avenue Whataburger around 11:20 p.m., and once they got to the middle of the gathering, they found a 19-year-old man inside a black Dodge Challenger riddled with bullet holes who had been shot 10 times, including in the neck.
Ofc. Danny Bean said witnesses told officers there was an altercation during a private party across the street at Safari Joe s H2O water park that somehow escalated. They found that this was actually a rolling gun battle. The shooting victim that we had there at the scene and the car he was in and another car got into a gun fight rolling down the street, Bean said.
