A naked thug had to be carried out of his flat by police before falsely claiming to have Covid-19 symptoms.
Seven officers had to self-isolate for 10 days following Fraser Gilmour’s booze-fuelled conduct in Tayport.
Gilmour, 38, removed an officer’s face covering during a violent struggle as well as making a homophobic slur.
A sheriff warned Gilmour that he could be jailed after he pleaded guilty to the offences.
The incident was sparked by a dispute between Gilmour and his former partner at his flat on Glebe Gardens.
Police were contacted and found a drunken Gilmour passed out and naked in his bed.

School resource officer brings new shoes & food to kids in need
LEE COUNTY, Fla. A School Resource Officer brought 30 pairs of brand new sneakers to Rayma C. Page Elementary after noticing some students wearing old, worn-out shoes.
Deputy Anny Allen learned that some students couldn’t afford to buy new shoes, so she decided to help.
Partnering with Bridge for Hope of Southwest Florida and the Lee County Justice Center, she was able to bring 30 new pairs of shoes and 25 boxes of non-perishable items to give out to kids in need.
“We are grateful to have exceptional deputies like SRO Allen who go above and beyond the call of duty to serve our children,” a spokesperson for the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said.
