Yellowstone s incredibly successful third season, Paramount+ announced an all-new prequel series that will show the Dutton family got their start in Montana. Aptly titled
Yellowstone fans back more than 130 years, giving an even deeper insight into the John Dutton s behavior and why he loves his family s ranch so much.

Yellowstone have nothing to worry about when it comes to the western being cut off too soon.

Even before season 3 came out, Paramount Network announced that it had already ordered a fourth season of the hit western drama. Filming was originally set to begin in June, but was inevitably pushed back due to the global pandemic. Production finally began in late August, but the delays had to be taken into account in the script.
