Durham, Barrington, Lee, Madbury elect town, school leaders Staff report Here s a look at the results: Oyster River School District   Voters in Durham, Lee and Madbury approved a $50,173,045 operating budget in a 1,584-435 vote. (The default budget that would have been enacted if the proposed budget was defeated was $50,080,250.) Durham s three-year term on the School Board was won by Yusi Turell with 1,333 votes, defeating Jeffrey Fortin (422) and Erik Mason (214). Lee s three-year term on the board was won by incumbent Brian Cisneros (1,578) over Nicolas Alcocer (283). Madbury s three-year term on the board was won by incumbent Daniel Klein (1,280) over Michelle Dunbar (446) and Kevin Abbott (173).

Tuesday, March 9, is annual meeting and election day for towns throughout the Granite State. Here’s a look at some of the races and warrant articles voters in southern Strafford County will decide at the polls. Durham This year’s Durham Town Council election features a six-way race for three three-year seats on the nine-member council. Running are Nicholas Germain, Charles Hotchkiss, James Lawson (incumbent), Dr. Warrent Smith, Tyanne Sylvestre and Carden Welsh (incumbent). Durham’s polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on March 9 in Oyster River High School’s multipurpose room. See more on the Oyster River School District vote below.
