Some yet-to-be-identified gunmen have abducted Chief Abdulkerim Aliyu, the district head of Ofugo at Opulega in the Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State. The suspected kidnappers, who kidnapped Aliyu at around 7:30pm on Saturday when they invaded his palace and whisked him away, have demanded the sum of N5million ransom, Tribune reports.
