49s, 49erFX, and Nacra 17 European Championships © Mick Anderson Aarhus has just been awarded the European Championships in 49er, 49erFX, and Nacra 17 from 5 - 10 July 2022. In July 2022, the largest sailing championship will be held in Aarhus since the Sailing World Championships in 2018. From 5 to 10 July, three of the classes will thus revisit Aarhus for the European Championships in 49s, 49erFX, and Nacra 17. I am pleased that we once again succeeded in attracting one of the greatest sailing events to Denmark in three of the classes in which Denmark has a strong position. In Denmark, we rarely experience world-class sailing up close. This is of great importance for us to promote our sport.
