Mercury Business Awards 2020 winners finally get their trophies
The winners of our Mercury Business Awards for 2020 finally have their hands on their unique trophies.
Each of our 11 winners received a trophy made from slate kindly supplied by Clipsham Stone Cutting Company, and wood supplied by Viking Signs.
And coincidentally, Susie Nottingham who runs Clipsham Stone Cutting Company with husband Martin, was able to see one of the trophies being handed over after she arrived for a takeaway at The March Hare Bakery and Tea Rooms as owner Amy Roberts was being photographed outside!

Due to Covid-19 restrictions many of our sponsors were unable to make the presentations so Mercury editor Kerry Coupe had the honour of delivery the trophies in a covid-secure way.
May 6 election: bring a pencil to the polling station in Lincolnshire Published: 08:00, 26 February 2021
People may be asked to bring their own pen or pencil when they go to the polling stations on May 6.
The covid safety measure is one of several suggested for the election of new county councillors in Lincolnshire, and a new police and crime commissioner.
Other guidance for polling day is expected to include wearing a face covering and keeping two metres from others, in line with current rules when shopping.
Polling stations may operate differently this year to keep people safe
Those who do not fancy voting in person can apply for a postal vote, or a proxy vote in which they nominate someone they trust to go along for them.
