State police say nine teenage boys who escaped from a detention center in Pennsylvania are back in custody. A Pennsylvania State Police spokesman said they were captured early Monday, after being on the run for less than 12 hours. He said four youths turned themselves in after hours on the run because they were cold and tired. Five others were captured less than five miles from the detention center, in or near a truck and trailer that had been reported stolen. The nine youths originally escaped from Abraxas Academy at around 8 p.m. on Sunday after overpowering staff. Abraxas Academy is an enclosed residential treatment program northwest of Philadelphia.
