A little over 80 years ago a gentle, kind, caring, loving giant was born to Elsie (Shettley) and Benjamin Schumacher. Gerald Schumacher along with his three brothers Dennis, Bob, and Ron played along the salt flats of North Dakota attending the Farm School where Gerald would grow up and meet his first love Loretta and they would have 3 beautiful children: Carla, Arlyn and Joel. He would then meet his forever love, Sue Braun where they would spend 35 years together in Fargo ND and Detroit Lakes MN adding two more spouses to their children, Arlen Truitt married to Carla and Katie Schumacher married to Arlyn Schumacher and 4 wonderful Grandchildren Zac, LaTonya and Danielle Truitt and Toby Schumacher.
