Common Impact, the national organization that matches companies and nonprofits with proven models of impact for skills-based volunteering, has announced that it will hold a virtual Skills for Cities event on Wednesday, April 21st during National Volunteer Week. Skills for Cities unites corporate professionals with nonprofits for a cross-sector day of skills-based consulting to build their capacity to do good in their communities. The April event – hosted via Zoom – will support organizations across the Midwest, including Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Ohio, as they continue to respond to COVID-19 and begin planning for the post-pandemic recovery period.
