Andy Moorman, brother of Suzanne Morphew who has been missing since Mother s Day, spoke to Fox News about what he believes happened to his sister, and his hope to finally get closure about what had happened to her.
Barry Morphew, the husband of missing Colorado mom Suzanne Morphew, appeared in court Thursday, shackled and wearing a jail-issued jumpsuit as he faces three charges including first-degree murder in connection with his wife’s presumed death.
Morphew, 53, spoke only briefly during his initial appearance in Chaffee County court on Thursday, where he sat alongside his public defender, Daniel Zettler, and wore an orange and white jumpsuit, a blue face mask and shackles.
Barry Morphew, accused of killing his wife, Suzanne, who was reported missing a year ago, made his first court appearance Thursday.
Morphew, 52, was charged with first-degree murder, tampering with evidence and attempt to influence a public official nearly a year after his wife, Suzanne Morphew, went missing after going for a bike ride near Salida on Mother’s Day last year.
Wearing a white-and-orange striped jail jumpsuit and a blue mask, Morphew sat next to his public defender with his hands cuffed and resting in front of him. Morphew did not speak during the hearing that lasted about 15 minutes other than responding “yes sir” to the judge’s questions confirming that he understood the charges and orders filed against him.

CHAFFEE COUNTY, Colo. â In his first court appearance Thursday morning, Barry Morphew, who s accused of first-degree murder in the Suzanne Morphew case, was read his rights and told he was allowed to have civil contact with his daughters if they wanted to interact with him.
Barry, 53, was arrested Wednesday near his home in Poncha Springs on charges of first-degree murder after deliberation, tampering with physical evidence and an attempt to influence a public servant, according to court documents.
