Three members of a Liverpool-based gang that flooded North Wales with drugs have been sentenced. Ellen Tracy Howard, Melanie McLaren and Khaliel Saleh all worked for a drug gang known as Smokey s Crew. Howard, 30, a qualified teacher and McLaren, a student nurse, worked alongside Saleh for a gang controlled by north Liverpool man Thomas Collins. Collins is now serving a seven-year jail term for drug offences.
Howard, of Rimose Valley Road, Crosby, McLaren, 25, of Padstow Road in Greasby and Saleh, 19, of Sienna Close, Belle Vale, pleaded guilty to participating in the activities of an organised crime group between February and July 2018.
